Policies
Privacy and security
- Data provided by or generated from users will never be sold to third parties.
- Lists of members of clubs using the Court Booking System, user contact details and details of court bookings at a club are only
visible to logged-in members of the same club.
- Summaries of bookings - which show when courts are in use - and a brief booking title are
visible to everyone. This means that club members can quickly see if there are free courts without the need to log
in. Users should choose their booking titles accordingly. For example, a common practice is for
users to put just their initials in the public title for their own individual bookings.
- User data held by the Court Booking System is encrypted.
- Communication between the Court Booking System and the user's browser is encrypted (whether logged in or not).
Cookies
- The Court Booking System website only sets functional cookies: i.e. those cookies which are required for the purpose of managing
login sessions, and for remembering the preferences of users.
- The website does not set any 'marketing' or 'tracking' cookies for visitors, whether logged in or not.
- The website does not contain any advertising, nor does it set any third
party cookies of any kind.
System requirements
In order to use the website properly, 'Javascript' must be enabled in browsers. This is the default setting of all
the major browsers, and is secure.
Older, unsupported versions of browsers are not supported, especially older versions of Microsoft's Internet
Explorer. While some features of the Court Booking System may still work for users of older browsers, only those
versions of popular browsers (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11) that are currently
supported by the browser supplier are also supported by the Court Booking System.
